The founder

Preteva is a power woman’s clothing and accessories brand inspired by the cultural heritage of the south-west Nigeria.

Preteva was established by Nigerian fashion designer, online course creator and IT professional, Temidayo Abiodun. Temidayo graduated from Igbinedion University Okada in 2008 with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science & Information Technology. After about 10years of secular work experience, she quit her job in 2018 to pursue a full time career in fashion. She afterwards graduated from GYMT fashion academy with a certification in fashion design and other business short courses from International Trade Centre. In 2019, she launched her fashion brand – Preteva.

Our mission is to create a clothing lifestyle brand that showcases the beauty and resilience of African women, most especially working mothers and homemakers (power women), using rich, bold, vibrant and colorful fabric patterns and textures.

We offer formal and casual clothing for power women that are proud of their African culture; mothers and homemakers that oozes self-confidence, and who love to wear outfits that make people notice when they walk into a room. We also offer special occasion outfits for children.
